As a kid in the seventh grade, I looked forward to art class every single Friday. I liked art, but I never loved it. I was good at drawing, but never great. I was better at painting, but I wasn’t the best. I liked being creative so I always wondered, “why didn’t I like any of these things?”
What I did like was making One Direction fan art on my first-generation iPad mini. Posting content to my Instagram fan page of 2000 followers taught me two lessons:
1. How to understand and talk to a group of people through ideation and design.
2. Never get too attached, because one day your favourite boy band will break up and your world will come crashing down.
I like to think I do a lot of the same things today – communicate to audiences through the power of creativity without getting too attached to the ideas themselves. Only today, it’s through less fan art and more ads.
here's a bit more about me.
